Background
Indigo is an arts and culture agency specialising in data and audience consultancy, led by Katy and Flo. Op-Tix supported the team through a period of growth and process change — a project defined, in equal measure, by warmth, humour and genuinely sector-leading thinking.
At the centre of it is Indigo Share: a subscription platform that gives cultural institutions audience insights, curated reports and industry benchmarking.
The challenge
Indigo wanted to expand the Indigo Share offering — more product, more subscribers — without letting the user experience slip as it scaled. That meant getting the underlying structure and the third-party development handover right, not just adding features.
Our approach
Working in a hybrid product/project manager capacity, Op-Tix bridged the gap between Indigo’s vision and the third-party developers building it — keeping user experience and real user stories at the heart of every decision.
What we delivered
- Initial-stage wireframes to guide the third-party developer handover
- Scoped and mapped the required API endpoints, streamlining internal processes
- Acted as project-manager liaison with the third-party developer
- Summarised the key decisions the team needed to make
- Wove UX best practice and user stories into the decision-making
The outcome
Indigo moved into its next phase of growth with a clearer product scope, a cleaner developer handover, and decisions anchored in what users actually need — a platform set up to scale without losing the experience that makes it valuable.
“It's been a joy to work with Adam and I can't recommend him highly enough.”
